Honor Roll Woodland
Respect Award Woodland
AP Scholar With Honor |
These three awards represent an integral part of my upbringing. Core Virtue Awards were awards given to students who demonstrate select virtues. I have won the Respect Award three times. This award reminds me of something that is at the very foundation of who I am. My passions for entrepreneurship and business are rooted in virtues such as respect, patience, and courage. These awards rest framed on my desk and are a constant reminder of how highly respect is valued. Respect is a critical aspect in life that helps maintain positive relationships with others and follows one of the most important rules: treat others the way you want to be treated. This virtue is necessary for not only business but in all disciplines. I strive to be respectful and professionally conduct myself during all interactions. This is a practice that has been ingrained in me since my youth. These awards represent how my virtues and traits were shaped growing up, and serve as a reminder that my learning and academics will mean nothing in the real world without respect.
